Astrhori is a new brand that is moving very quickly, and GFX can use more affordable glass like the AstrHori 75mm f/4 for GFX. They have a lot of interesting designs, and I can’t wait to see what additional lenses they will release for GFX in the future. Below is an image believed to be a teaser for two additional lenses coming in GF mount that was leaked on weibo.

FUJIFILM Imaging Systems Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Matsumoto) announced that it would be difficult to procure some of the raw materials used in the production of its long-time favorite Inkjet Paper Kasai Photo Finish Pro. As a result, we have no choice but to terminate our shipment of the target product.

Voigtlander MACRO APO-ULTRON 35mm f/2 Preorders Started and Shipping Aug 29th

B&H Photo listed the Voigtlander MACRO APO-ULTRON 35mm f/2 for preorder. This lens looks like it will be an interesting one, but the staggered rollout of its announcement and late listing might hint at a delay to come. Hopefully, it ships on Aug 29th, and we get some additional coverage of the lens.

Fujifilm X-H2S Firmware 1.03 Released

Fujifilm released Firmware 1.03 today, and you can download a copy here.

Firmware Ver.1.03
Revised specification from Ver.1.02 to Ver.1.03
Camera function freezes when “HIGH SPEED BURST” mode is used.
Some RAW files shot in “BURST” mode with “LOSSLESS COMPRESSED” or “COMPRESSED” as RAW image recording method does not show up with some application software such as “Capture One”.
*The firmware bug to cause this issue will be fixed with Ver. 1.03, so that the image data taken after Ver. 1.03 upgrade will show up with any application.
Wireless LAN connection cannot be established when the access point setting for wireless LAN connection is registered by “SSID Manual Setup”.

Third Fujifilm Event Announced This Year X-FES 2022

Fujifilm already has two other events scheduled for this fall X-Summit on September 9th in Japan and Fujikina on September 10th in NYC. Now Fujifilm has announced X-FES 2022 on September 10th in Japan.
