FUJIFILM Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Teiichi Goto) has announced that it won the Cinema Camera Award at the IDEA (International Design Excellence Award) 2022 sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). We are pleased to announce that the “Premista Series” zoom lens for FUJIFILM has received the “Silver Award”. In addition, six products were selected as finalists *1 , including the FUJIFILM GFX100S/GFX50S II mirrorless digital cameras and the FUJIFILM DR CALNEO CROSS lightweight X-ray fluoroscopy diagnostic equipment.
The “IDEA Award” is an international design award established by IDSA in 1980. Along with Germany’s “iF Design Award” and “Red Dot Design Award”, it is one of the three major design awards in the world. is. A rigorous review is conducted based on criteria such as design innovation, user benefit, and impact on society, and “Gold Award”, “Silver Award” and “Bronze Award” are selected.
In the development of all products and services, we pursue functionality and performance, and work on design development that makes the most of these excellent functions. At this year’s IDEA Awards 2022, out of approximately 1,600 products submitted from around the world, the Premista series of zoom lenses for cinema cameras won the Silver Award. This is the fourth consecutive year since 2019 that we have received the IDEA Award.
