Pros:

  • shapely, lightweight, handy casing,
  • excellent resolution in the frame centre,
  • good resolution on the edge of the frame,
  • imperceptible longitudinal chromatic aberration,
  • slight lateral chromatic aberration,
  • lack of problems with distortion,
  • moderate coma,
  • silent and quick autofocus,
  • negligible focus breathing,
  • sensational price/quality and price/performance ratio,
  • 5-year warranty.

Cons:

  • distinct vignetting in RAW files,
  • accuracy of autofocus leaves something to be desired, especially when the lens is attached to older bodies.

Fujifilm X-T4 Extended Spectrum Discontinued


Fujifilm has discontinued the Fujifilm X-T4 Extended Spectrum camera, which isn’t really a surprise since they are currently making the Fujifilm GFX IR and Fujifilm X-H2 IR. Fujifilm is known for having very IR-sensitive cameras without having to modify them, so ES and IR cameras are largely marketed to law enforcement at this time.
