TOKYO, May 16, 2024 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President & CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces the launch of the latest model of the mirrorless digital camera “GFX series,” the “FUJIFILM GFX100S II” (GFX100S II), equipped with a large format sensor^※¹ approximately 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor.

The GFX100S II is equipped with a newly developed 102MP high-speed sensor, the “GFX 102MP CMOS II,” and the latest high-speed image processing engine, the “X-Processor 5,” all housed within a compact body weighing approximately 883g^※², making it the lightest in its series. This mirrorless digital camera allows you to easily enjoy an extraordinary level of image quality.

FUJIFILM Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces the FUJIFILM X-T50 mirrorless digital camera (“X-T50”), the latest model in the X series that delivers outstanding image quality with unique color reproduction technology in a compact, lightweight body. It will be release in the middle of June, 2024.

The X-T50 is a compact and lightweight body weighing approximately 438g ^※1 , and features the back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel “X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR” sensor, the high-speed image processing engine “X-Processor 5^※2, and a 5-axis, up to 7.0-stop^※3 in-body image stabilization function. It is a versatile model that achieves high image quality, high performance and high mobility. Combined with the new standard zoom lens “FUJINON XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR” announced today, it can be used for still image shooting in all situations.

In addition, for the first time, Film Simulation dial is incorporated on the top plate allowing a user to easily switch between “Film Simulations”, a key feature unique to the company that enables a wide variety of color tones. The X-T50 also incorporates a new round shaped design that achieves both high holding performance and compact size.

The X-T50 is a digital camera that combines the ease of shooting with a compact and lightweight body and a Film Simulation dial, and outstanding features that deliver exceptional image quality, providing the joy of photography even more.

TOKYO, May 16, 2024 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President & CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces the release of the “FUJINON Lens GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR” (GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR) in June, 2024. The new lens joins the lineup of GF lenses, i.e. interchangeable lenses for the GFX Series of Fujifilm’s mirrorless digital cameras equipped with the large-format sensor*¹ measuring approximately 1.7 times that of the 35mm full-frame sensor.

The GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is a super telephoto prime lens that can capture images up to 500mm (equivalent to 396mm in 35mm format), making it the longest^*2 in the lineup of GF lenses. When combined with the Fujinon Teleconverter GF1.4X TC WR, which expands the lens’ focal length, it achieves a maximum focal length of 700mm (equivalent to 554mm in 35mm format). Despite being a super telephoto lens, it weighs approximately 1,375g^*3 and offers high mobility.

TOKYO, May 16, 2024 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces the launch of the FUJINON Lens XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR (XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR). The new lens joins the extensive lineup of interchangeable XF lenses designed for the X Series of mirrorless digital cameras, which are renowned for their compact and lightweight design and outstanding image quality delivered with Fujifilm’s proprietary color reproduction technology.

The XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR is a standard zoom lens that covers a focal length range from wide-angle 16mm (equivalent to 24mm in 35mm format) to medium telephoto 50mm (equivalent to 76mm in 35mm format). It combines high resolution performance compatible with 40.2 million pixels X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR^※1 sensor throughout the entire zoom range and the lightest^※2weight of approximately 240g among XF lenses for a zoom lens. Furthermore, it offers high-speed and high-precision autofocus, magnification of 0.3x at the telephoto end (equivalent to magnification of 0.45x in 35mm format), and a weather resistant and -10°C low-temperature resistant structure, allowing for versatile use in a wide range of scenes.
