Samyang 50mm F1.2 AS UMC vs. Fujinon XF56mmF1.2 R

image courtesy of Mirrorlessons Companies like Samyang and the companies that rebrand their lenses like Vivitar, Falcon, Rokinon, Walimex, Bower, Opteka, Bell and Howell, Polar, and Pro-Optic target a more price conscious audience than first party lenses, but that doesn’t mean their lenses aren’t competitive in a price/performance analysis. It’s good to see a thorough comparison of the Fujinon XF56mmF1.2 R […]

Optyczne.pl Posts First Fujifilm X-T2 Hands On and Samples

Fujinon XF2X TC WR Reviews/Previews: Updated 5/23

There are already a surprising amount of Reviews/Previews hitting the web for the new Fujinon XF2X TC WR. From what I can gather from reviews, the Fujinon XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR seems to work best with the Fujinon XF2X TC WR teleconverter, while the Fujinon XF100-400mm F4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR noticeably deteriorates in performance. bencherryphotos jonasraskphotography michalkrause macleancomms

High Quality Mirrorless Telephotos Compared

image courtesy of Daniel J. Cox Natural Exposures has a comparison between Leica/Fuji/Nikon super zooms and the Olympus 300mm. In my opinion the Fujifilm XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR, that I reviewed earlier this year, is the clear winner even through Daniel J. Cox isn’t familiar with Fujifilm cameras/lenses. The XF100-400 and Fujifilm X-T1 work great together and I […]
