A Fujifilm Patent has recently surfaced hinting at smart dials that are very GFX100 like in design. This innovation could be useful to shrink the size of Fujifilm cameras, but I think many fans will not be satisfied by this design since the analog dials are a big draw for photographers looking for a more photographer-centric experience.
We will have to wait and see how this could be used in the future, but I think cameras like the X80 and X100V would benefit the most from this design, followed by the Fujifilm X-E4 and X-T40.
