Map camera released its sales rankings for July and the Fujifilm X-T50 did well considering the much anticipated Nikon Z6III launched. You can find the rankings and their statements below:
The much-anticipated model, the Nikon Z6III, released on July 12th, debuted in first place, with an overwhelming lead over the second place model and below. Despite the
hectic schedule of the official announcement from the manufacturer on the evening of June 17th and the start of pre-orders on the 19th, an enormous number of orders were placed as soon as pre-orders began. There were concerns about a temporary supply shortage, but thanks to the manufacturer’s efforts, there was an abundant supply and sales were able to increase.It is equipped with the world’s first partially stacked CMOS sensor (effective pixel count 24.5 million pixels), which has many high-speed processing circuits arranged in the stacked sections above and below the image sensor. By adopting the same image processing engine “EXPEED 7” as the higher-end models Z9 and Z8, the performance of capturing moving subjects has been greatly improved. In addition, it is equipped with a variety of video shooting functions that can meet the needs of various video productions, and furthermore, it adopts an electronic viewfinder that achieves brightness, resolution, and a wide color gamut that exceeds that of higher-end models. It is packed with the latest functions and performance, and is an ultra-high performance machine that surpasses even higher-end models.
Nikon’s Z8 and Z f are still very popular. The arrival of new models has made the market more lively. If the supply of the Z6III remains stable, it will undoubtedly remain at the top, but if that happens, it will be interesting to see how these three models will coexist in the future.
Since they all have equally high performance, some people may be having trouble deciding which one to choose. I hope they don’t end up competing with each other.In second place is the FUJIFILM X-T50, which debuted in first place last time. Although there was a temporary supply disruption, it recovered quickly. Although it was left behind by the newly released Z6III, it has firmly placed second, far ahead of the third place model. The company hopes to maintain a stable supply and be ready to take on the next new model from Canon.
Also from FUJIFILM, the higher-end X-T5… is tied for 12th place this time. At the end of July, a lens kit with the XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR was added to the lineup, and the supply shortage was resolved accordingly. However, the long period of shortage up until that point affected the camera’s return to the rankings this time.
While it was suffering from a supply shortage, new products were released one after another. It will be interesting to see if it can make it back into the rankings from next time onwards.
