Blackmagic Design releases Blackmagic Video Assist 3.7 update. RAW recording support for FUJIFILM X-H2S
Blackmagic Design has released Blackmagic Video Assist 3.7. It can be downloaded from the company’s website .
The update adds support for Blackmagic RAW recording from FUJIFILM X-H2S cameras to the Video Assist 12G HDR series (both 5 “and 7” models). Video Assist 12G HDR will now be able to save camera settings in metadata when recording Blackmagic RAW.
White balance and exposure are file-encoded and read by DaVinci Resolve, but you can also override these settings with a palette of RAW settings during color correction.
The update also adds support for white balance adjustments on the Panasonic GH5S and BGH1 cameras, improving the white balance accuracy of Panasonic S1H, S1, S5 and BS1H cameras when using the Video Assist 12G HDR series.
