Fringer is Showing Off Its New Nikon to Fujifilm AF Adapter

Fringer has been making AF adapters for Fujiflm camera for a while to adapt Canon glass to the system, but now they have a Nikon adapter coming. Fringer posted the above video on youtube using its new Fringer NF-FX adapter on a Fujifilm X-T3 body with a Nikon AFS200-500mm f/5.6 attached.

We first heard about this adapter back in August and acording to the video details the adapter will be released soon.  The testing was pefromed on a firmware 4.0 X-T3 and shows off the adapters tracking performance with Nikon glass with the camera set to AF-C, CH at 500mm f/5.6.

Testing results

  • Total photos taken 90 in 9 seconds (10fps)
  • Sharp image ratio 77% (69 of 90) (Be noted: the face/eye wasn’t always locked)
  • There is also a movie mode test that performs well
