Fujifilm GFX100 Sensor Compared to 108MP Xiaomi CC9 Pro CMOS

Fujifilm posted a product photo of the GFX100 system with a reflection or some other defect or edit that is similar in size to the 108MP Xiaomi CC9 Pro CMOS. So I decided to create an accurate comparison between the two sensor sizes to see how close the image was to reality.

The Fujifilm GFX sensor is 44x33mm, while the Xiaomi CC9 Pro CMOS sensor is a 1/1.33 inch sensor or around 9.6 x 7.2mm. So it looks like the above photo is pretty accurate in size. It will be interesting to see how the technology from this unique high megapixel small sensor will be applied to larger sensors in the future. Maybe we will see gigapixel photography in the coming years if this race keeps up.
