Steels Ring AF Adapter Updates and Nikon AF Still Coming Soon

Steelsring is one of the smart AF adapters that is less frequently updated than others, but they have released 3 new updates in addition to continuing work on their Nikon AF adapter that was promised last year. Hopefully, we will see their Nikon AF adapter this year since they have had several beta firmware updates since we first found the Nikon adapter.

EF/GFX Ver. 2.10 – Win / Mac

  1. Bug fixes
  2. Improve Sigma/EF lens compatiability
  3. Improve AF lock accuracy
  4. Correct aperture display error of several lenses
  5. Support AF/MF switch of EF lens body

Contax645/GFX Ver. 1.08 – Win / Mac

  1. Minor bug fixes

EF/FX Ver. 2.04 – Win / Mac

  1. Bug fixes
  2. Improve Sigma/EF lens compatibility
  3. Improve AF lock accuracy
  4. Correct aperture display error of several lenses.
  5. Support AF/MF switch of EF lens body
