Fujifilm GFX 50S vs Hasselblad X1D-50c: The Hasselblad Gets in The Way and Roundup

Michaels Camera Video & Digital published their roundup/photo review video (warning low resolution and mono audio) and even thought they weren’t familour with the Fujifilm GFX 50S they said the Hasselblad got in their way taking pictures, while the GFX allowed them to get work done. The shoot was extremely impromptu and they even reset the camera so the GFX files were JPEGs, because they confused some settings on the GFX with the strobes they were using. You can watch the origional videos here.

It seems lots of photographer that are used to opitical view finders have a hard time adjusting to EVF and strobs. I set all my Fujifilm cameras to toggle exposure preview on/off with the front button, which makes it very easy to shoot with/without strobes quickly.

In Brief

  • Fujifilm doesn’t get in your way.
  • Fujifilm could place the playback button better.
  • The Hasselbad took their favorite picture.
  • Both cameras can use HC lenses
