image courtesy of travelshooteditrepeatWhen the Fujifilm GFX 50S was announced a lot of bloggers/vloggers/photographers tried to paint it as a specialty camera , but now that the camera is in photographers hands they are adding it to their workflow just like any other camera. If you are given the opportunity to shoot a GFX it’s clearly designed to be shot handheld. It is so well deigned that you can manage sharp images with the Fujinon 63mm shooting with shutter speeds as low as 1/10 of a second relatively easily, which would be impressive on a crop sensor camera.
The GFX feels great in the hands, but questionable on a tripod, because buttons like the Q button are placed where you might grip the camera for adjustment. This is not a problem handheld where buttons are out of your way, but within reach. I hope overtime the community will begin to accept the GFX as just another tool, but for now there are still writers trying to slam the GFX for clicks.
