Amateur Photographer interviewed Mr Makoto Oishi and it seems Fujifilm’s flagship products are selling well. Fujifilm “sold more X-T2’s than we ever expected” and “The X-T2 has big demand and with the GFX there’s more demand than we expected.” Amateur Photographer also asked about the Fujifilm X-E3 plus “rumored” telephoto Fujinon telephoto prime and ultra-wide zooms, but Mr. Makoto only said “The next lens may be wider.”
It doesn’t sound like Fujifilm will be slowing down with the X-system anytime soon, even with them ramping up production of the Fujifilm GFX. It’s a good time to be a Fujifilm addict.
