Fantastic Fujifilm Astrophotography

I have been gearing up to do an astrophotography shoot during the new moon for a little over a month now, but it can be hard to accomplish in South Florida, due to light pollution. While researching the shoot I came across some amazing work with the X-Pro 2 that I would like to share. Florian shot the above image using his Fujifilm X-Pro 2 and Fujinon XF16mm. Hopefully, I can manage an image a fraction as stunning as Florian’s Saturday night in the everglades with my Fujinon XF16mm, Fujinon XF10-24, Samyang 8mm Fisheye and Fujifilm X-Pro 2. You can read more about Florian’s methodology on his site, where he provides a useful tutorial for aspiring astrophotographers utilizing Hugin panorama to produce images like the one above.
