Fujifilm-logo
FUJIFILM Corporation expresses its sincerest sympathies and deepest condolences to the people affected by the recent series of earthquakes centered in the Kumamoto region in Japan.

FUJIFILM Kyusyu Co., Ltd., located in Kikuyo-cho, Kumamoto, has been working toward the resumption of its operations in cooperation with Fujifilm group companies and other support companies. Please see below for the progress FUJIFILM Kyusyu has made in resuming operations.

The company commenced trial operations on April 23. As these trial operations proved successful, the company will continue limited operations.

  • Operations have resumed at the first trial facility. Assuming no massive aftershocks and no significant change to the current situations, FUJIFILM Kyusyu estimates that operations will reach the pre-earthquake production levels by the end of May.
  • The company is continuing to inspect the condition of the stock at its warehouse, and has been shipping products that have passed inspection since April 19.

The intensity and frequency of aftershocks are subsiding. FUJIFILM Kyusyu is doing its utmost to resume all operations, and the Fujifilm group will continue to provide all necessary support.

Your continued understanding and cooperation are most gratefully appreciated.
