ZNONZ I allows you to create unique images
Non-lens optical elements
While a lens refracts light, ZNONZ I uses the phenomenon of light diffraction to form images.
Amplitude type zone plate
ZNONZ I uses an amplitude type zone plate. Its structure, which is different from that of a lens, gives it a unique character.
Four imaging elements
The turret can be used to switch between four different types of imaging elements.
Unique image creation
Photos taken with the ZNONZ I produce unique images that differ from those captured by any lens.
ZNONZ II: Further evolution with phase-type zone plates
Non-lens optical elements
The ZNONZ II also uses the diffraction phenomenon of light to form an image, which works on a different principle than lenses that use refraction.
Phase type zone plate
The staircase structure has steps that are in sync with the wavelength of light, so that the light coming from each step is in phase at the focal point.
Brighter
By using a transparent material, it is possible to obtain a brighter image than the amplitude type.
Four imaging elements
The turret can be used to switch between three types of phase type zone plates with different numbers of stages and shapes, and a Fibonacci zone plate that is an amplitude type but different from ZNONZ I.

Despite what others would like you to believe, Fujifilm will not be working with smartphone manufacturers to bring its simulations to a phone anytime soon. While the move would be an interesting one, the rumor is the product of lazy reporting because the account that posted the images has a ton of speculative posts and uses Deepseek to speculate about future products. You can see an example of his prompting below, where the user asks who Fujifilm would work with and why.
The posting account has over 100k followers on weibo, but it is hard to determine what has garnered them so much attention. The other image that wasn’t shared by the sites that reported the X200 are even more clearly user-created.
If all of the above doesn’t fully disprove the fake rumor for you, then maybe this will meet the Vivo X300, which was posted on the same weibo user account that started the rumor.
Most “rumors” come from Chinese social media because they do not value intellectual property like the West and build most of the products we buy, so they are on production lines. Sure, there are a few “leakers” breaking their NDA’s, but the vast majority of “leaks” are still new, uncited Chinese “sources.” I am making this point simply because it is only when a source is provided to a rumor that we can judge the legitimacy of the leak ourselves and it seems like the only time some sites will share these sources is to cover their butt’s when the rumor turns out to be false. In this particular instance, it is far worse because zero effort was put into verifying the rumor.
