We have known about the Viltrox AF 25mm f/1.7 since January 1st, and thanks to an image that was likely sent to testers, we even have an image with the focal length on it that confirms the specs. The Viltrox AF 25mm f/1.7 will be for X/E/Z mount and its announcement will be on February 28th.

CP+: Fringer EF-FX Ultra and P645-GFX Autofocus Adapters Coming

Fringer has been pretty quiet lately, but they just released a YouTube video with some demo autofocus footage which you can watch below. They intend to release the following AF adapters:

  • Fringer EF-FX Ultra
    • EF to X smart adapter with focal reducer
  • Fringer P645-GFX
    • Pentax 645 to GFX smart adapter with auto focus and electronic aperture control

1. Fixed the issue where the in-body image stabilization of certain lenses does not work on the X-H1 and X-T4 after upgrading FX1 and FX2 to v2.28.
2. Fixed the issue where the camera would restart when powering off on the X-H1 and X-T4.
3. Fixed the issue where the aperture occasionally becomes unresponsive during shooting.
4. Fixed the issue where the camera screen flashes after adjusting the focus position, but the issue is resolved when the shutter button is pressed.

SIRUI 40mm T1.8 1.33X S35 AF Now Available From Retailers and 20mm T1.8 1.33x AF Coming Soon

The SIRUI 40mm T1.8 1.33X S35 AF  was originally announced on Indigogo last November. You can now order one directly from B&H Photo. Sirui will also announce a 20mm T1.8 1.33x AF lens in the near future with similar specs as the 40mm but it will be 480g.

FUJIKINA Prague 2025 March 22-23: Fujifilm GFX100RF Post Launch Event Announced

Fujifilm just started rolling out events for the Fujifilm GFX100RF announcement. Fujifilm has done a pretty good job of hiding what is coming, but we found patents a while ago for a fixed-lens GFX camera for a GF35mm F3.5, GF40mm F3.5, and GF50mm F3.5 fixed lens.

Fujifilm was also very careful in announcing FUJIKINA Prague 2025 except on one of their Instagram pages where I found the GFX hashtag which further verifies that there will be a Fujifilm X Summit GFX even before March 22-23 that could occur on March 20-21 depending on time zones etc…


The Fujifilm GFX100RF will likely be an X100-styled camera so stay tuned for more information and if you wish to attend FUJIKINA Prague 2025 you can do so here. I hope to be able to share more details about the events and Fujifilm GFX100RF soon.
