Fujifilm released a new teaser featuring Hayato Ueno, the designer of the Fujifilm X-Half Frame, and it continues its split fame video theme. The most interesting frames from the video can be found below. One features sketches of the Fujifilm X-Half Frame, while the other shows split frame negatives.

For the everyday shooter, this AF 35mm f/1.8 II Lens from TTArtisan offers the perfect perspective for capturing a little bit of everything. From night-time shooting to portraiture, this prime lens can be relied upon to create strong imagery, even in low-light conditions with its f/1.8 maximum aperture. Immediately noticeable with this second iteration is its smaller form factor which now measures 1.9″ in length. Its minimum focusing distance has been updated from 24″ to 15.7″, which greatly helps capture subjects up close with sharp focus. P&E in China has started, and Fujifilm has the largest booth, showing off its X and GFX cameras. Fujifilm is showing its newest products at the event, and they are probably trying to capitalize on their strong X100 and GFX100RF sales, which have grown along with strong Instax sales.

New Fujifilm X-Half Frame Teaser

Fujifilm released a new teaser for the Fujifilm X-Half Frame. It doesn’t really tell us anything new, but the camera is certainly getting closer. I hope Fujifilm can provide cameras to the US at a reasonable price.

“A diptych is an artwork, often a painting or photograph, consisting of two related panels, usually joined together by a hinge. The panels can be closed like a book and, in the past, were often used to protect the interior paintings. Diptychs can be used to create a visual dialogue between the two images, capture a single moment in time, or explore a theme over time.”
