Fujifilm EV1 Coming Soon

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Fujifilm Launches EV1: A Revolutionary Electric Car with Classic Design
Tokyo, Japan – Fujifilm, a leading provider of photographic and imaging solutions, has announced its entry into the electric car market with the launch of the EV1, a groundbreaking vehicle designed for the modern era. Inspired by the sleek design and cutting-edge technology of Sony’s latest electric car, and the emphasis on classic design of Tesla, Fujifilm has created a car that incorporates the latest advancements in electric motor technology, autonomous driving features, and connectivity options.

The EV1 boasts an impressive range of 400 miles on a single charge, and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to handle and maneuver, while the intuitive controls ensure that drivers can focus on the road without any distractions.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the EV1 to the market,” said Fujifilm’s CEO, Takashi Ueno. “This car is the result of years of research and development, and we’re confident that it will exceed the expectations of even the most discerning drivers.”

The EV1 has a retro design that sets it apart from other electric cars. Fujifilm drew inspiration from the classic designs of the 1960s, giving the car a timeless look that is both elegant and sporty. The company’s emphasis on classic design is similar to that of Tesla, whose cars have become known for their sleek and sophisticated design.

In addition to its advanced technical capabilities, the EV1 is also equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing drivers to easily access information and entertainment on the go. This feature makes it ideal for drivers who need to stay connected and informed while on the road.

The EV1 will be available for pre-order on April 1st, 2024, and is expected to begin shipping in June 2024. With its revolutionary design and state-of-the-art technology, the EV1 is sure to become a game-changer in the electric car industry.

NEW SLR Magic Micro Prime 17mm, 35mm, and 50mm Lenses For X-Mount

SLR Magic launched some new micro prime lenses for X-mount that you can find at B&H Photo

SLR Magic MicroPrime CINE 17mm T1.5
The Fuji X-mount SLR Magic MicroPrime Cine 17mm T1.5 Lens is a compact, lighter-weight lens designed for Super35/APS-C sensors. Suitable for 4K origination, each lens in the MicroPrime Cine series features a similar size and weight with consistent lens gear positions for rapid lens changes and easier rebalancing when changing lenses on a gimbal.

The MicroPrime Cine 17mm T1.5 lens provides a pleasing bokeh with natural-looking out-of-focus highlights. This lens has an internal focus design, so the front of the lens doesn’t rotate when focusing, and it has an 82mm filter thread and focus marks in feet.

Fujifilm X-E4 Discontinued

The Fujifilm X-E4 has been marked as discontinued at B&H Photo, while Adorama has the X-E4 listed as temporarily not available, and Amazon only has 3rd party sellers left. The Fujifilm X-E4 hasn’t been a very popular camera, but I have always wanted one as a more compact X100 replacement without the hybrid viewfinder. I’m curious what Fujifilm will do with a future Fujifilm X-E5 product since they are making a lot of effort to differentiate camera lines now.
