Topaz Photo AI 2 Announced With $40 Launch Discount

Topaz Photo AI 2 Shop Save $40 until September 22nd 2023

Topaz Photo AI 2 introduces generative AI features designed for professional-grade photo editing

Topaz Photo AI 2 has launched with all-new AI powered features, including a single-slider lighting adjustment filter, a color balance filter, and other best-in-class image enhancement features powered by generative AI.

Dallas, TX – Topaz Labs today announced the availability of Topaz Photo AI 2, the second major version of its flagship desktop app for image quality enhancement. With this upgrade, Topaz Photo AI uses generative AI to deliver on its promise of best-in-the-world image quality for professional and prosumer photographers.

With the new advancements in v2, photo editors can now:

  • Adjust Lighting improves lighting and addresses over/underexposure in a visually pleasing way. It can deal simultaneously with extreme highlights or shadows in the same image.
  • Balance Color attempts to remove color casts, then allows editors to adjust relative temperature based on the neutral baseline.
  • Maximize image quality on raw files with a heavily improved AI-based Raw Remove Noise engine that greatly outperforms alternatives in blind quality tests.

The new release also features improved blur reduction AI models and the ability to access Gigapixel generative upscaling directly from the Automate menu in Photoshop.

With Photo AI 2, Topaz Labs continues to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and magical results for photographers serious about image quality.

“Topaz Photo AI v2 shows the huge potential of generative AI to make editing real photos better,” said Eric Yang, CEO of Topaz Labs. “Photographers can focus entirely on achieving their artistic vision and let technology worry about the technical details.”

Topaz Photo AI 2 is a desktop software for Mac and Windows with integrations available for major image editors. It’s available on the Topaz Labs website for the introductory price of $159 for new users and $79 for existing users without an active upgrade license.

New Cambo GFX100 and GFX Accessories

Cambo ACTUS-G-15 Kit

Cambo ACTUS-G-15 Kit Overview
The Cambo Actus G-15 Kit is a special ACTUS wide angle kit based on the ACTUS-G, the new ACTAR-15, and a bayonet set by choice for a mirrorless camera body.

The ACTUS-G is the most universal version of the Actus series with its interchangeable bayonet holder system and all geared movement for tilt, swing, and shifts.

The ACTAR-15 is a new member of the Cambo ACTAR series of lenses and offers a generous image circle of over 65mm while having virtually no distortion. The image circle allows for 12 to 15mm shifts on a 24×36 sensor and even covers the 33×44 sensor with up to 6mm of shift.

This set is optimized for the use with a mirrorless camera body such as Canon-R, Nikon-Z, and Sony A-series, but also supports the use of FUJIFILM’S GFX series and the smaller APS-sensor bodies. A complete set comes enclosed in a custom-made case.

Cambo ACXL-967 Bayonet Holder Actus Style Kit for Fujifilm GFX-100 Body with Ultima

Cambo ACXL-967 Overview

The Cambo ACXL-967 is a rear frame including rotating bayonet dedicated to host the Fujifilm GFX-100. Due to the larger size of the GFX-100 compared to the GFX-50, the ACXL-967 stands higher and needs 12.5mm more space backwards.

Cambo ACXL-367 Upgrade Package from Ultima for FUJIFILM GFX100

Cambo ACXL-367 Overview

Allowing you to upgrade your existing Cambo Ultima, the ACXL-367 Upgrade Package from Cambo lets you adapt a FUJIFILM-GFX 50s/100s and take advantage of the features that make the ACTUS so different from other platforms. Replacing the front and rear frames with these new parts enables you to mount all Actus lens plates on the front standard, a FUJIFILM GFX 50s to the rear standard, and connect both with the included bellows AC-214 with 300mm extension, matching the Ultima’s monorail length of 30cm.

Features

  • When changing the rear upright to a ACXL-965 bayonet holder, all Actus camera bayonets can be used on the rear standard, like on the Actus-Mini.
  • The front lens panel mount block ACXL-960 has also been prepared to use the Ultima compendium UL-343.
  • The rear bayonet mount ACXL-966 has the same rotating capability as the Actus, where you can rotate the camerabody in a fraction of a second from landscape to portrait position without removing the camera nor the bellows.

Fujifilm Invests 4.5 Billion Yen To Increase Instax Production 20%

Fujifilm reinforces production facilities for INSTAX films
4.5 billion JPY capital investment to cater to global demand increase
Increasing production capacity by approx. 20%

TOKYO, September 6, 2023 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces a 4.5 billion JPY investment into its Ashigara Site at the Kanagawa Factory in Japan to reinforce production facilities for INSTAX*1 films. The latest move will increase the company’s production capacity for INSTAX films by approx. 20%*2 in order to cater to the global demand increase for the INSTAX Series. The production facilities to be built under the new investment are set to go operational in stages, starting the autumn of 2024.

Fujifilm will continue its efforts to cater to the demand for INSTAX films, which is increasing as a result of expansion in INSTAX product lineup, broadened events and business applications for INSTAX, and collaborations with partner companies. By FY2025, when the new production lines go fully operational, INSTAX films’ production capacity will be approx. 20% more than the current level. Combined with the effects of facility expansion started in 2022, the production capacity will increase by approx. 40% compared to FY2021.

Since its initial launch in 1998, the INSTAX series has expanded its lineup to include analog instant cameras, hybrid instant cameras and smartphone printers, broadening user base covering young people and middle-aged groups. More recently, Fujifilm has introduced a series of INSTAX devices such as the hybrid instant camera “INSTAX mini Evo” (released in 2021), the smartphone printer “INSTAX mini Link 2” (released in 2022) and the analog instant camera “INSTAX mini 12” (released in 2023). The company also offers INSTAX films in the card-sized “mini format”, “SQUARE format”, and “WIDE format” to expand the range of photographic expressions.

Fujifilm will continue to expand the world of the “INSTAX” instant photo system that allows people to enjoy on-the-spot photo printing.
