The awards are for the branding visual identity of the instax Pal ™ palm-sized camera *1 from the instax ™ “Cheki” series , including its dedicated app and product packaging, as well as the creation of a simple design that makes use of green gradation lines and white space using Fujifilm’s corporate color, Advanced Green.
The Red Dot Design Award is an international design award established in 1955, and is considered one of the world’s three major design awards, alongside the German iF design award and the American IDEA (International Design Excellence Award). The Red Dot Design Award consists of three categories: Product Design, Brands & Communication Design, and Design Concept. The Brands & Communication Design category is awarded to outstanding designs in categories such as branding, advertising, packaging, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX).
In the Product Design category of the Red Dot Design Award 2024 announced in April this year, 16 of our products, including the instax Pal ™ series , the mirrorless digital camera X/GFX series, and medical equipment, won the award. In addition, including the Brands & Communication Design category, a total of 19 of our products and services have won awards. In particular, instax Pal ™ received high marks in product design (target: product), user interface design (same: dedicated app), and package graphic design (same: product packaging).
