Fujifilm makes two relatively affordable GF lenses around the same focal range and in my experience, both are a great choice. Above Mattias Burling tries to decide which 50mm would be best to use pair with the GFX50R as a starter lens.
Fujinon GF50mm f/3.5: B&H Photo / Amazon / Adorama
- Good build quality
- Compact
- Internal focus
- Fast-focusing
- Image Quality is equal
- Cheaper
Fujinon GF63mm F2.8 R WR: B&H Photo / Amazon / Adorama
- Good build quality
- Large with a large hood
- The lens moves to focus
- Image Quality is equal
- f/2.8 aperture with 13mm more reach
- Great Bokeh
Mattias thinks that which you pick will depend on the lenses you plan to buy, but for him, the GF50mm is the lens to go with.
