FUJIFILM Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshikazu Goto) will release the latest model in its GFX Series, the FUJIFILM GFX100RF (hereinafter “GFX100RF”), featuring a large-format sensor *1 approximately 1.7 times the resolution of a 35mm film. The new model, the FUJIFILM GFX100RF FRAGMENT EDITION (hereinafter “GFX100RF FRAGMENT EDITION”), is a collaboration model with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s design project, fragment design. Pre-orders for the GFX100RF will be available in limited quantities on Fujifilm’s official online store, Fujifilm Mall *2, from December 20, 2025. Since its release in April 2025, the GFX100RF has been acclaimed for its exceptionally high-resolution shooting experience thanks to its 102-megapixel high-speed sensor and sophisticated design, including a machined aluminum camera mount.
The GFX100RF FRAGMENT EDITION is a special model designed under the supervision of Hiroshi Fujiwara, a prominent figure in a wide range of cultural scenes, including fashion, music, and art. The GFX100RF FRAGMENT EDITION features meticulous attention to detail, from the top case and exterior components to the accessories, to further highlight the GFX100RF’s inherent design, which satisfies the desire to own it.
The GFX100RF FRAGMENT EDITION features anodized aluminum on the top case and meticulously polished to create a mirror-like shine and a deep, lustrous black finish. This texture, distinct from the subdued black of the GFX100RF, brings out a new level of appeal. The same finish is applied to various parts, including the included lens cap and lens hood, enhancing the sense of unity. The camera grip is made of a new material that combines subtle texture with a smooth, matte finish. While the textures of each material vary, the overall exterior design is unified and elegant. The “fragment design” logo is also featured on the top case, front of the camera, and lens hood. The engravings on each part give the camera a different design from the GFX100RF. While maintaining a high-quality feel, this camera’s design blends seamlessly into street scenes, allowing you to enjoy stunning image quality in a variety of shooting situations.

2. Features of the FUJIFILM GFX100RF FRAGMENT EDITION
- This is an integrated lens digital camera equipped with the 102-megapixel high-speed sensor “GFX 102MP CMOS II” and the latest high-speed image processing engine “X-Processor 5.”
- Despite being an integrated lens, it weighs just 735g, making it the lightest in the GFX Series . *3 It delivers the next-level image quality of large format in an incredibly compact body.
- In addition to anodizing, it has been thoroughly polished with a special finish, giving the top section a mirror-like luster and a deep black sheen, creating a high-quality appearance. It is equipped with an aspect ratio switching dial that allows you to switch between nine different shooting formats with simple operations, and the versatile angle of view created by the newly developed 35mm F4 lens (equivalent to 28mm in 35mm format), as well as subject detection AF and high-speed, high-precision AF functions using the latest AI technology, allow you to enjoy comfortable shooting in a variety of scenes.
- The GFX100RF FRAGMENT EDITION is equipped with a film simulation recipe (FS recipe) exclusive to the GFX100RF. “FRGMT BW” is a preset image quality setting based on the film simulation * 5 “ ACROS.” It captures impressive black and white photos with strong contrast and a grainy feel. “FRGMT BW” can be selected directly from the film simulation menu.
