The Impossible I-1 is a slap in the face to the people behind the death of FP-100C. It appears Fujifilm is content continuing their transitioning to instax, while letting their traditional Polaroid films die; even though demand is strong enough to bring about projects like the I-1 from the Impossible project, which go beyond instax technologically. I have been the proud owner of two Polaroid SX-70‘s since I was a child and I remember being amazed at how they operated, but today’s instax technology just doesn’t stack up to classic polaroid film in my opinion.
