photos courtesy of JLBWeddingJLBWedding made a unique 7 camera Fujifilm X70 rig to create a “bullet time” type effect that is pretty affective at capturing the moment. They tried to trigger the cameras simultaneously wirelessly and via wired connection with varying degrees of success, but even the pictures with a little motion have a pleasing look to them. I’d be curious to know if the creator of this rig tried photographing a stop watch with these cameras a few times and then averaging the results. Maybe they could build a more reliably rig by swapping out a few cameras or by putting slower firing cameras towards the outside of the rig. It could be a lot of fun to dial this in if given a budget.
