There is a report on asobinet that Viltrox AF lenses will not work with the latest firmware update for the Fujifilm X-T5. If this is true the other firmware updates that were released might also break Viltrox AF lenses so if own have a few Viltrox lenses it might be worth waiting to update to the latest Fujifilm camera firmware.
Someone told me that after updating the firmware on their X-T5, the VILTROX lenses went on strike. (Below is an excerpt of the conversation)
- After the X-T5 firmware update, all VILTROX lenses were laid off. I could no longer read the aperture and it became a paperweight.
