RoboSHOOT remote TTL triggers are now available in the United States for Fuji X cameras. According to Serene Automation, the makers of RoboSHOOT, their flagship remote trigger allows for off camera TTL with Nikon, Nissin, and Fuji flashes, which is a first for remote triggers. Further, Imagine Resource reports there are “third-party reports of the setup working with the Nikon variants of the Metz 52AF-1 and Yongnuo YN-568EX, among others.” These triggers seem very useful from what I have read about them, but if you want to read a hands on review, morethanwords.be has an article worth reading 5 Reasons the RoboShOOT X Flash triggers for Fuji are a game changer.
There are two lines of flash triggers currently available from Serene Automation for Fuji X cameras at this time from Serene Automation that can be mixed and matched pretty liberally, but support for Nikon flashes and an external sync port are limited to the 20 line. So, if you’re interested in full Nikon compatibility and/or sync ports, purchase the RoboSHOOT MX-20/RX-20 bundle and add flash appropriate receivers. Theres even a useful iOS and Android app for the MX-20 that uses Bluetooth and isn’t available for the MX-15.
