The Fujifilm X-T2 is not faster than the X-Pro 2, according to Fujifilm, both cameras focus at 0.06 seconds when using phase detection af pixels, but the X-T2 uses phase detection 2/3 of the time and the X-Pro 2 1/3 of the time. This will change when Fujifilm releases firmware 2.00 for the X-Pro 2, which will bring parity to the cameras. The X-Processor Pro is what makes parity possible because it can be reprogramed during a firmware update. Maybe the reprogrammable X-Processor Pro will be what differentiates Fujifilm Professional cameras from lesser Fujifilm cameras like the Fujifilm X-E 3 in the future.
