MAP Cameras’ take

Coming in at second place is the FUJIFILM X100VI. It has made a comeback after being unranked last time. Despite the continued unstable supply, its popularity remains unchanged. We only accept orders for the number of units we expect to receive, but that number is reached in no time. While it is in stark contrast to the α7V, it is certainly a threat to the α7V’s ranking.

Coming in at third place is the FUJIFILM X-T30 III. Although it dropped one rank from second place last time, it maintains its high popularity.

While its pixel count of approximately 26.1 megapixels is inferior to higher-end models, it is sufficient for an APS-C size camera. The omission of in-body image stabilization is not a problem if the lens has that function. Because of its lower price, it is purchased by a wide range of people, from those buying it as an entry-level camera to those buying it as a secondary camera to a higher-end model. April and May, in particular, are times when many people are starting out with photography. With stable supply, it is a camera that can be expected to remain at the top of the list.

In addition, the X-E5 came in 5th place and the X-M5 came in 7th place, bringing the total number of FUJIFILM models that made the list to four. FUJIFILM has been consistently getting three or more models into the rankings recently, and their strong performance is remarkable. In the 2025 annual rankings, which we reported on recently, they had four models in the top 10 of the new product category, and a total of seven models in the top 20, overwhelmingly outperforming the others. We mentioned that their diverse lineup has led to support from a wide range of customers, and this year’s start has also shown that same momentum.
