The FCC has some interesting filings for the Fujifilm FF24003 camera, which will be made in China and could be interchangeable or fixed-lens. I generated some images based on the filings, showing what the camera could look like as an interchangeable lens camera with a standard sensor and a 1-inch sensor, but it is likely this camera will be a fixed lens camera in my opinion so that Fujifilm doesn’t have to worry about how lenses perform with the split frame aspect ratio.
The camera will be a little smaller than the Fujifilm X-M5, which is 111.9 x 66.6, and the half-frame camera will be 105.8mm x 64.3mm. The Fujifilm half-frame camera should be a fun camera when it launches with a range-finder-styled layout. The buttons to the right of the LCD make me think that the camera will operate similarly to a digital Instax camera like the evo or LiPlay with some X camera features. If it is priced right, it should sell very well and help convert people to Fujifilm.
P.S. I used 35mm as an equivalency, not the actual focal length of the lens
