COLOR-SKOPAR 18mm F2.8 Aspherical X mount is a wide-angle lens designed exclusively for Fujifilm X mount. By designing the maximum aperture value to F2.8, the overall size of the product is kept compact. The overall length is 23.5mm from the mount, making it highly portable, and the angle of view is equivalent to 28mm in full-frame size, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from snapshots to tabletop photos.
Designed exclusively for Fujifilm X mount
Implements an optical system optimized for the image sensor of Fujifilm X system cameras. High resolution is maintained to the edges of the image without relying on the camera’s optical correction function, and phenomena such as color cast are suppressed.
Information communication with the body using electronic contacts
Equipped with electronic contacts to achieve highly reliable electrical communication between the lens and the body. The combination of a telecommunications-compatible body and the latest firmware (*1) enables Exif information, focus check, shooting distance linked display, and certain models also support in-body image stabilization.
Manual focus allows for reliable focusing
The use of an all-metal helicoid unit that has been machined and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate amount of torque provides focusing with a smooth operating feel. This allows for delicate focus adjustments.
Beautiful bokeh created by 10 aperture blades
In order to make the hole formed by the aperture blades more circular, a 10-element aperture is used. Out-of-focus areas are rendered naturally, and point light sources are not polygonal, but have a round, soft bokeh.
Aperture ring with direct mechanical operation
The aperture mechanism uses a mechanism in which the aperture ring is directly connected to the opening and closing of the aperture blades, similar to Voigtlander’s VM mount and mirrorless mount lenses. With 1/3 step clicks, you can enjoy the feeling of directly operating the mechanism.
Focus ring with excellent operability
The focus ring for adjusting the focus is equipped with a lever that is well shaped for finger grip, improving operability. You can also find out the approximate distance you have set based on the position of the lever without looking at the distance indicator.
Minimum shooting distance 0.17m
Despite its compact style, the shortest shooting distance is 0.17m. It also supports table photos that take advantage of the perspective unique to wide-angle lenses.
