Fujifilm GFX100 Technical Analysis Part 4: Final Round-up



Jim Kasson finished his GFX100 testing and I have to agree with him that the GFX100 is not a nitch camera. Jim did some additional testing with an Epson P800 here if you want to read about it, but I left it out of this final round-up since most will order prints form a professional shop instead of printing at home.

The Last Word – GFX 100 self-heating read noise and EDR

There is a very small gradual increase in the noise, amounting to about 0.2 counts. This is nothing to worry about.

The Last Word – Fujifilm GFX 100 conclusions

Before the GFX 100 shipped, there were many who said that it would be a niche camera, with volume a tiny fraction of that for its 50-MP brethren. I doubted that then. I doubt it even more now.
