It looks like we are going to get a new battery with the announcement of the Fujifilm X-T6, called the NP-W255, which will be 2550mAh according to weibo. The battery will be made by Panasonic Suzhou, which also makes Canon’s LP-E6P. It is believed the battery is needed to support Fujifilm’s new X Processor 6. Hopefully, Fujifilm maintains reverse compatibility with the Fujifilm NP-W235.
