The Caye 200mm f/3.5 was announced only a few months ago, but it wasn’t marketed in the West beyond our coverage. Since then, there has been an announcement of a generation 1.5 lens that seems like it will be a little more expensive and resolve some of the inexpensive lenses shortcomings.
Only 175! Cangye Optics’ new 200mm F3.5 full-frame telephoto prime lens has been upgraded to the 1.5 generation.
The main updates are as follows:
-Solved some known issues and those who raised the issues,
-Improved lens parameters, significantly improved MTF,
-The actual focal length has been increased from 196mm to 216mm,
-Removable lens group for easy dust cleaning,
-Reverse the lens to achieve a soft focus effect.It still uses a classic set of two optical structures, a fixed F3.5 large aperture, a minimum focusing distance of 3 meters, covering the full frame, a metal nameplate, weighing about 550 grams, optional lens hood and tripod ring, two colors of white and black are available, with Sony E, Canon EF, Canon EF-M, Canon RF, Nikon F, Nikon Z, Fuji X, Leica L and M43 mounts.
If we see this lens in the West, it will likely be sold on Amazon.
