- Fujifilm has been working on this camera for over two years
- The Fujifilm GFX ETERNA is based on the GFX100II but development isn’t finished
- This is a different style of GFX with the same sensor and processor as GFX100II
- The target isn’t just cinema, but also film makers
- The layout is what is significant in this camera
- The picture quality will be the same as the GFX100II but the camera is optimized for filmmaking with additional features
- The rolling shutter should be the same as GFX100II
- Still developing so can’t say what additional features will be in the camera software-wise like codecs and resolutions
- There will be internal ND
- The sensor is 12-bit
- Rolling shutter will remain the same
- The camera is just being developed in 2025 so it could ship later
- Fujifilm doesn’t have a price yet
- If they did an X ETERNA camera it would have to be totally different
- Confident the G mount is good for video and Fujifilm will develop specific film lenses for the camera
- Original design not inspired by others
