The Fujifilm X100VI shipped out today from multiple retailers for delivery and it is certainly going to be an interesting long wait until retailers have stock. Also, it sounds like each region will receive a very limited amount of limited-edition cameras with Japan only allocating 90 cameras for local supporters.

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Fujifilm Group’s founding, the 90th anniversary limited edition “Limited Edition” of “X100VI” is now available!

The camera body is engraved with the corporate brand logo from the time it was founded in 1934 and a unique serial number, which is proof that it is a limited edition model.A special package that includes a limited edition strap, soft release button, and more.

The “X100VI” maintains the same “hybrid viewfinder” and excellent design, but also has a back-illuminated approximately 40.2 million pixel “X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR” (*1) sensor and a high-speed image processing engine “X-Processor 5”. ” is adopted. Furthermore, it is equipped with a newly developed in-body image stabilization function of up to 6.0 steps (*2) for the first time in the “X100 series,” while achieving a compact and lightweight body weighing approximately 521g.
