- Very compact
- Comes with a nice hood
- Only weights 215g/0.5lbs
- Very compact
- 62mm filter thread on the front
- Nice focus and aperture ring
- Weather sealed
- All metal design
- No linear focus motor, but it is unneeded
- You can shoot very close up, but not quite macro performance
- Flare well controlled
- Ghosting well controlled
- Sun stars aren’t very good because they aren’t distinct
- Well-controlled breathing for video work
- Very smooth pleasing bokeh when shooting very close up
- Sharp in the center wide open but not the corners
- The corners get better by f/8
