CineD created a video about using Fujifilm’s new Frame.io with Fujifilm X-H2/X-H2S at NAB 2023. CineD is one of the first 5 teams to gain access to Fujifilm’s Frame.io which Fujifilm claims will someday remove the need for interchangeable storage in cameras. In a busy WiFi environment like NAB, the connection struggled, but in less busy environments like the desert cellphone LTE worked flawlessly.
The technology isn’t perfect yet, but it is impressive and helps to save time especially if you are not on overly crowded WiFi. CineD used camera to cloud at NAB and it helped them to work more efficiently with their team in Argentina, Italy, and elsewhere. This is what Fujifilm and Adobe hope to see more of in the future. The technology isn’t perfect today, but it is very useful.
