DRP Added The Fujifilm X-H2S Studio Scene: Impressive Performance

DPR posted its Fujifilm X-H2S studio scene, and it looks like the stacked sensor inside the X-H2S holds its own against Fujifilm’s previous 26MP sensor, which is a great performer, to begin with. The ISO performance is slightly worse, but only when using high ISO, and the same is true of dynamic range, which compares well but shadows performance will not be as impressive. In short there is “a very slight increase in read noise as a result of the fast readout being seen as a reduction in usable dynamic range.” You can manipulate the studio scene here and don’t forget most stacked sensors are noticeably behind their unstacked counterparts so these results are impressive.
