Introducing rotaFoot, our new mounting device for digital cameras on the ARCA-SWISS rear function carrier. With rotaFoot you combine the potential of the latest digital camera technology with the outstanding modular design of the ARCA-SWISS view camera system.
Combining a rotating mechanism with snap in detents, rotaFoot will make easy changes from landscape to portrait orientation. The bellows remain attached to rotaFoot during handling and changing orientation, therefore a digital sensor will not be exposed to dust and other environmental factors.
The rotaFoot offers a height adjustment feature that provides easy mounting and centering for a variety of digital cameras with your ARCA-SWISS view camera. Height adjustment is only required once and the setting is secured in place with three screws inside a sliding track.
The rotaFoot standard interchangeable bayonet mounts may be purchased separately for additional digital cameras and are easily installed and secured to rotaFoot with four screws. A single bayonet will be included with rotaFoot, with additional bayonets available to purchase separately. Bayonets currently available are:faFuji GFX, Sony E, Canon R, Nikon Z, L-mount (Leica, Panasonic and Sigma), Hasselblad X and Leica M.
We have developed several rotaFoot versions. For the first version, called the “standard”, you will order with one of the bayonets listed above. There is also a separate “standard” model for Universalis.
A second version, rotaFoot GFX100, has been designed specifically for the large body FUJI GFX100 and includes a dedicated bayonet mount and front frame extender. It’s shape takes into account the lower grip of the GFX100 body, which provides the shortest extensions possible for compatibility with Canon T-SE lenses. Universalis cameras will also have a separate model for rotaFoot GFX100.
The rotaFoot requires the use of one of our four DSLR bellows with magnetic connection: wide, universal, standard, and long.
RotaFoot is compatible with F-Line, M-Line, and F-Universalis view cameras.
