I have used Hasselblad glass on the GFX in the past and it hasn’t disappointed, but it was before the introduction of the Metabones Hasselblad adapter and Metabones Hasselblad Speedbooster. In the video above is a proof of concept that the Metabones adapter allows for the attachment of the Fujinon GF 1.4X TC WR Teleconverter, which can make adapted Hasselblad glass cover 3 focal lengths. So the 500mm that I previously used can also be a 700mm and 355mm.
This should work on anybody, but the above test was done with the GFX100. Interestingly the camera used in testing had some odd vignetting at times that was inconsistent and shouldn’t exist with V lenses. It’s probably something with the video producers’ settings or setup because V lenses have a large image circles.
