Fujifilm X-T3 Video Review Comparison, DJI Ronin-S, and Anamorphic Lens Footage
Many have called the Fujifilm X-T3’s video best in class, but how does it compare to larger sensor cameras like the Sony a7III, Canon EOS R, and Nikon Z7? Max has taken the time to put together a pretty good comparison where Sony and Fujifilm are neck and neck, but Canon and Nikon flounder. It’s not surprising that Canon/Nikon’s flagship mirrorless cameras can’t compete with Fujifilm/Sony’s more mature offerings, but maybe future cameras will be more competitive. For now, Sony and Fujifilm make the best mirrorless cameras for video.
With the Fujifilm X-T3 being a competent video camera there are going to be more videographers/cinematographers using gimbals and anamorphic lenses with the camera. I included an example of what you can get with an anamorphic lens adapter attached to the Fujifilm X-T3 below and there is a good review of how the Fujifilm X-T3 and DJI Ronin-S work together at Cinima5D.
