In an Interview with focus-numerique Mr. Jeong Min Shin, head of product planning at Samyang said in an interview
“We also believe in Fujifilm and Micro 4/3, but these markets are not very important”
When asked about AF lenses for other systems. Samyang probably doesn’t want to compete on these systems at this time because they already have a lot of great glass for a good price. Sony is different and it helps they opened their camera platform for development at deeper level than other camera manufacturers have before, which is why there are so many great adapters on the market for Sony cameras. It’s a shame Samyang doesn’t want to compete with Fujinon lenses, but I think most Fujifilm fans understand.
