Fujifilm Canada Price Adjustment Coming May, 1st 2017

A member of our Fujifilm GFX Owners group shared a dealers letter from Fujifilm addressing the weakness of the loonie, which you can view here(original post removed now). It appears Fujifilm plans to adjust Canadian pricing effective May 1st, 2017. It is not currently known how much since the new prices aren’t attached, but speculation is 20% to match the US dollar since it is not uncommon for people in the United States to buy camera gear from Canada in order to save money.

I would post the letter on FujiAddict, but this is exactly the kind of thing Fujifilm sends their lawyers after, which I vehemently disagree with. So in an effort to do things a little differently, I am not posting the “offending content.” I am simply telling interested parties where they can go read it if they are interested because these issues aren’t worth fighting about. I’m just reporting breaking news like any other organization.
