Fujifilm X-Pro 2: Battery life management

Fujifilm developed the above chart and more, for those of us that have a pocket full of batteries to power our energy hungry X-Pro 2’s. I have used all 3 settings and I generally find very little difference between the modes because I am constantly turning my camera off and on to maximize efficiency, but I know some people like to leave their cameras on so the chart might be helpful if they don’t want to dedicate pocket for charged and empty batteries. Also if speed is a priority Standard/High Performance mode are probably the best pick.

Carrying 3 xtra batteries is no problem considering how small and light they are. Better safe than sorry. But your chart is very helpful.

    • Fuji’s chart, but thanks. I know a lot of people get confused about these kinds of topics. Especially if they are new to mirrorless. Funny how the new X-T2 can hold 3 batteries with the grip 😀

Boy the battery life sucks. But boy do I love the camera.
