String Tripod Hack

I love photography hacks and this is probably the best, since the bathtub product photography hack. Roger Payne came up with an innovative way to stabilize his camera using only a tripod plate and string. You can find additional details about the hack in his Fujfilm Blog, but basically he is using string tension to stabilize the camera. I have heard of this hack before, but I have never seen it explained in detail until now, plus he included a good example of how well it works. Definitely worth a good read if you do not like to carry around a tripod.
